- 2007 - 2012: Started living in the Amazon village half the year over next five years, offering accessible services in ASL for Medicine work with the Peruvian shaman
- Underwent five year Ayahuasca Medicine apprenticeship

- 2006: Spanish immersion in Costa Rica for a month (solo)
- 2006: Started working with local shamans training in various healing techniques, Reiki trained
- 2006: Lead Interpreter (schools) then shifted to predominately university interpreting
